June 2009 News

 

All teams are now well into their fixture programmes for the season. In the Plymouth League division 3 the men are unbeaten and currently lie second in the league. In division 7 the B team are still coming to terms with men's tennis and the juniors are getting some good experience (assisted by Andy Puckey and Andy Glasgow!) Ladies news to follow.

 

September News

 

Des Hocking and Duncan Jagger attended the Plymouth and District League Presentation Evening on Wednesday September 24th where they collected the Mens Division 4 Winner's Trophy; merit awards for Duncan, Des, Paddy and Dave R for achieving wins in over 95% of matches; A shield for the ladies finishing runner-up in Division Six and a merit award for Melissa Hocking for winning the majority of her games.

 

Yet another very successful season for Looe!

July News

 

Below are details of our latest results. Men's Plymouth team are going well and have just about secured promotion for the fourth successive season. Other results have been mixed but there are some very good results in amongst them all.

 

Please could all tournament matches be played asap. There are several outstanding matches - particularly in the plate competitions.

 

Here's hoping for some great weather for the remainder of this month so that some quality tennis can be played!
